WORKSHOP INSTALLATIONS
GROUP WORK is powerful. When it comes to the naked form, GROUP WORK is profound.
Workshop Installations through THEMOVEMENT create a context of safety, acceptance, and reverence — for groups of 9 to 100 people — within which to experience the nude form of oneself and others.
This context then creates the opportunity for self-definition, and redefining how one relates to nudity, and the naked form.
THE TRANSFORMATIVE FORMAT:
VIEW THE WORK → BECOME THE WORK → VIEW YOURSELF ~AS~ THE WORK
THIS IS, THEMOVEMENT
VIEW THE WORK:
OPENING NIGHT
Opening Night is designed to engage with the nude form, in a public space through a lens of celebration anD empowerment. it’s a chance to gather, socialize and experience the previous ‘body’ of work within community.
“Photographing groups at a time magnifies the experience to something beyond ourselves, allowing the amount of societal conditioning and pressure we all feel about the way we look to be processed, healed, and transmuted, much more effectively. It neutralizes the charge around nudity in such a way that it becomes simply what it is — our bodies.”
become the work:
the PHOTOSHOOT
The intention for THE private photoshoot is to hold a sacred space for each participant to experience being witnessed in their most essential state, through a lens of love
“My untapped inner beauty finally showed up and was honored. [...] I felt very comfortable and beautiful without judgement.”
view yourself ~as~ the work:
closing night
CLOSING NIGHT IS DESIGNED FOR CONNECTION THROUGH SHARED ‘INDIVIDUAL’ EXPERIENCE. gathering PARTICIPANTS & their circle of people to view their images ~for the first time~ CREATES SPACE FOR REDEFINING HOW THEY SEE THEMSELVES AND OTHERS.
“We all felt something really special that night. It was a sense of belonging and power that I hope every [woman] has the chance to experience in her lifetime.”
FINE ART PHOTO BOOK
With each ‘body’ of work linked to the previous and forthcoming installation through this format — a Fine Art Photo Book marks the workshop installation within EACH group and city, dignifying AND CONNECTING the entire experience
