GROUP WORK is powerful. When it comes to the naked form, GROUP WORK is profound.
Workshop Installations through THEMOVEMENT create a context of safety, acceptance, and reverence — for groups of 9 to 100 people — within which to experience the nude form of oneself and others.
This context then creates the opportunity for self-definition, and redefining how one relates to nudity, and the naked form.

in the spirit of a ‘renaissance’ regarding the way society views the nude form, Live Art Demonstrations are free, open to the public, and a way to courageously celebrate what some might perceive as the ultimate existential fear. Who are you, in public, without your clothes?
For this demonstration you are invited to bare it all on the sidewalk for a 9 minute Nude Portrait Session. You’ll be encouraged to share general information beforehand — name, age, occupation and where you’re from — and invited to share feedback directly after the shoot. This footage will be uploaded to the May We Rise website as a catalogue to provide context THEMOVEMENT, and a way to connect with others who may be tempted, but feel hesitant. Think of it as a ‘virtual’ book, that cannot be googled, or otherwise searchable. In solidarity, I will be doing Nude Self Portraits to initiate each offering. You will receive one complimentary digital file download, and access to an online gallery to select your image. This work will be included in the following Group Installation as the ‘body’ of work within THEMOVEMENT.

WORKSHOP INSTALLATIONS
THEMOVEMENT Workshop Installations are for groups of 12-100 at a time, where participants book a private 20 min Nude Portrait session, then gather with their community of people, to view the images for the first time. The nude form elevated to a work of art in a communal setting provides an opportunity to expand and rewire the way we see, and think, about ourselves and others.
